Thawed food question

How long can I safely leave thawed food in the terrarium before I take it out and dispose of it? :confused:

I am having a troubling time with one of my snakes. She ate one f/t food item for me and then never touched them again. I will generally leave food items in over night then the next morning remove them. I usually feed in the evenings so it's usually about 12ish hours.
