bugs in the bedding

has anyone found that with pre packaged substrate that insects come in them sometimes, i just put som fir bark in and i was cleaning under her hide rock and i noticed some silver looking little bugs, not very big but definately noticeable and they move pretty fast too, i picked up the snake and looked her over and didn't notice any on her
any ideas?

Wood mites. They're host specific, they won't go after you or your balls.
