I recently bought a het for albino Ball Python. He is about a year old or so.
I don't know the first thing about breeding. I mean do I stud him out, like they do w/dogs. Sorry if that sounds stupid, but I don't have anything else to compare it too. Also how does picking one of the snakes for myself work. If him & the female produce any albinos I want one. What if there is only one albino? Do I get to pick since I have the male? Please educate me!

Your best bet is to start researching breeding BPs & look for your own female(s) if you intend on breeding. A male het for Albino BP is worth about as much as a normal is unless you have female(s) to go with him. Typically in breeder loans where someone is providing a male the male is a high end morph not just a normal. As for any breeding deals thats between yourself & whomever you are doing breeding loans with. Basically what I'm saying is your snake is nothing special & it would be in your own best interest to get your own female(s). Mark
