Hi, Mike! I think somehow your post got screwed up, because there is really no approval process. Everyone shares; if not everyone agrees with the contents of a post, it generates a discussion to clarify, correct, etc. Maybe there was a glitch in the system that first day? Anyway, this post came through fine.
sounds like you have a very interesting menagerie! Welcome, and enjoy--this is my favorite reptile forum!

thank you for the welcome..the cali king as well as the iguana were rescues from two locals that couldnt keep them any more.i wasnt really planing on having them but its hard for me to turn down any kind of reptile..the savannah and blackthroat are long time favorites of mine..as for the post thing it says that before i could post a moderate had to approve it or sumthing??not sure if it was just a glitch or not..

hmmm . . . maybe the monitor section is different? I don't have any; I currently have only a BP, so hang out mostly in the python forums. (I need to branch out!)
I guess your best bet would be to contact one of the moderators & ask!
Boy, I'd take the cali king in a heartbeat; if the iguana needed rescuing, I'd take it but I would have to do some fast research on caring for it! Post pics sometime.

yeah it does it in every section i post in on this forum..but its all good..the cali king is doing great since its rescue put on sum nice weight and has gone threw about 4-5 sheds since ive had it..the iguana was always well taken care of the owners just couldnt house it any longer soo they asked if i could take over his care..im gonna post sum pics up as soon as i get sum more time and show every1 my animals..speaking of them there shippment of superworms and crickets arrived..dunno if any1 buys in bulk but that deff is the way to go with frozen mice\rats as well as crickets and worms and etc..

Most people here either buy in bulk or raise their own food critters. How long is the kingsnake? What coloration? Is it eating pinkies or hoppers or ??

Regarding your ongoing problem with posting, contact Boots (moderator) or another moderator to discuss your problem. I've never had a problem, and I'm not a moderator, so I don't know why you are experiencing this.

IIRC, the first day of being registered, your posts are moderated (outside of the 'hello new member' area). After the first day, it's just fine.

good to hear..i hate when people pay crazy amounts for food when u can buy in bulk and it pays after a few days..the cali king is the black and white banded version..shes right around 4 feet in length and is feeding on adult f\t mice..
