I'm the new chick.

Hello everyone. My name is Tierney (or tee, because people can rarely pronounce my name.) I'm new to this site, but not completely new to snakes. I very recently lost my beautiful baby cornsnake, Horatio. He was very sick but hid it from me until his last day. I'm devastated, but am not going to just give up on my love of snakes because of it. I'm interested in getting an Ahaetulla, aka. Asian vine snake, or Paradise flying tree snake. Most people on cornsnakes.com that I know, do not have a lot of experiance with either, which is why I'm here. I haven't talked with any other people about them, but maybe you could give me some information, and advice? Thanks so much! I hope I get to know some more snake-obsessed people here like myself.

Asian vine snakes are very rare still in collections. You will be hard pressed to find anyone with much experience with them. You can google "Asian Vine Snake care" and some very good information will come up. I did it just a few days ago.

Problem with them is that they are usually imported animals with terrible parasites. Plus they are rear-fanged venomous snakes.
