hello everyone i bought my first ball python 3 days ago and i have a few problems.he is housed in a glass vivarium with underneath pad heating using aspen as a substrate. i have a hide on both the warm and cold side of the tank with a water bowl in the middle.since i put him in his new home he has remained under his hide on the warm side and has not come out during light or darkness hours.is this behaviour normal?also i plan to feed him tomorrow as it is a week since he has eaten and plan to feed him a thawed sall furry as instructed by the pet store. is a plastic box a good place to feed him and how long will i leave him in it after feeding before i can move him back to his vivarium?
