I was wondering about keeping an exotic fish that seems cool, but cautioun must be taken. Does anyone know what size tank in gallons and dementions does two P.reticulatus , but no breeding need for life. I heard browsing thrugh websites that a ray tank doesn't need to be high, but wide and long. Also I have a quick question I heard that dead stingrays still have venoum in there barb (stinger), but what if it is shedded? Are the P.reticulatus very hardy? Does anyone know where captive bred rays are sold? Thanks for everything also what kind of fish can be with freshwater stingrays.:Wow:

I know 2 places here in Edmonton, Alberta that have captive, freshwater stingrays, i'll give you the info and find a phone number if you want to call them to ask what they do. Good luck with finding more info.

I do believe we have a member, Snake Guru who keeps them. Maybe if he comes back he'll post about them. Try the search function until then.
