Almost new to the community.... again...lol

Hey everyone! I am SOOO glad I found you guys here. I am currently in Edmonton and am part of the ERAS forum here. I will be moving to Powell River this summer and really wanted to find the same kind of forum there. I am not new to the world of animals as I am a dog groomer and have worked in Pet stores alot.... i know, I know.... I said "pet store":pissedoff:.... but yes, thats where I've been..... heh!

I am how ever new to the world of Herps. I have really enjoyed this world so far. I attended the reptile show here in May and purchased my first 2 corn snakes.

Nova - Amel (het Lavender, caramel)
Chili - Hypo (Het ??)
Mogli - Desert Iguana (brought home this last friday)

ALSO..... 1 Standard Schnauzer (Jayde)
1 chihuahua (Mylo)
1 cat, (Emmit)
1 Rosella Parakeet, (Brodie)

So, there....... thats me! Are most of you guys from the lower mainland? When is the next reptile show?

Thanks Jason, I have actually met a few from the ERAS already.... kinda neat, its a small world. I will probably frequent both forums then. A person can never have too much advise or friends :) (What is your handle on the ERAS?)

Next show in Western Canada is in Red Deer towards the end of August, then the Calgary TARAS show near the end of Sept & then EDM show like right after that. BC sucks for shows there are basically none there. AB rules western Canada for shows having Calgary (2), EDM (3) & Red Deer (1) ones every year. Only province with the same # or more is Ontario. I totally concur, BC sucks as far as shows go :( I sooo want to hit the edmonton show in Sept. I have family that would probably let me stay there.
