White Spots!

So...my snake just shed the other day...it pretty much came off in one piece with the exception of his head...I soaked him in water and removed the skin, it came off very easily, but after doing so I noticed a couple of white spots, almost like indents, on his head. Does anyone know what could be up with that?

I'm taking it that no one has ever experienced this...it is strange but hopefully they will go away with the next shed...I can always hope I guess!
