ive had a few red tails, but im tired of having babies again and want mine to start growin real fast. any suggestions? ive got a huge cage for them so space is not an issue. i know it gonna take a few years but is there any way to speed up their growth rate at all?

well not really every thing takes time you could put them on a 5 day feeding for there first year.

Or you could buy/adopt an older animal instead of trying to rush nature.

Its hard to overfeed babies, but its also hard finding the point when to stop, when the snakes slow their growth down naturally and extra feeding then contributes to obesity and the possibility of some organs growing faster then others. Forcing a snake to grow as fast and as much as possible will give you a big snake soon that will most likely die very young. Smaller meals more often are better for babies then larger meals less often and it will give them a little more to put towards growth, however as I said you need to be careful so the health of the snake isnt compromised.
