Snakes are best kept alone except for breeding purposes. Snakes of different species should not be kept together as they usually require different husbandry (Rainbow Boas require much higher humidity & slightly lower temps than a BCC or BCI). Keeping them together will likely stress them out whether you can tell it or not, it puts them at risk of cannibalism & cross contamination as well. Unwanted breedings can tak place, if the females too young/small it puts her at a health risk, in your case an undesirable cross could take place? Group housing of any snakes other than for breeding purposes, specially mixing of species is generally frowned apon by most all keepers/breeders. Mark

has anyone ever managed to get snakes like these to breed and how would the babies look?

has anyone ever managed to get snakes like these to breed and how would the babies look? To the best of my knowledge NO. They have different husbandry & breeding requirements. I think the babies would look like really ugly, dull, washed out rainbow boas. Not a desirable cross IMHO Mark

I think people may have crossed Brazilians & Columbians together? (Rainbows that is) More likely anyhow & again IMHO why would you cross a far nicer BRB to a less nice CRB (again IMO). Mark
