Glass sizing...

Im gonna order my glass tomorrow, just wondering how much i add on to the length between each track.
im using the plastic tracks from home depot, and i cant remember how much i added on last time...lol

Its usually somewhere in the window section of the homedepot. You should be able to find some there, just look around for tall white sticks...lol

people at home depot had no idea when i asked for MDF , glasstracks as well but i decided to go a different way with font opening and they also had no idea about ceramic light fixtures. what you have to do is find an actual window person there and they will know. when i finally found an electrician he led me right to the ceramic fixtures and told me what cord to use with them. but i didn't buy that day ha because i forgot to go to the bank and get money and now i forgot what type of cord he told me to use oh well. but yeah just find a window guy/girl or do like grant said and look for tall white sticks in that section.

Well, ya cant knock the ppl at home depot, i dont think i could remember what a gazillion things are and where they are located...lol

Edwin, i buy my class from Bloor Glass, in Toronto, at opld Weston and Davenport.
The owner lives right by me, so he usually drops it off on his way home from work.
For 1/4 inch its about 6-7 bucks per squzre foot.

The track comes in two sizes 4' and 6' and fits 1/4" glass.
Each track has a top & bottom track. If you are making a 8' long cage just buy two 4' tracks.
