Eye colour

My male BRB has the most beautful silver grey eyes. I wouldve thought they wouldve darkened up like my female's by now but they havent. I know Ive never seen an adult with light eyes before. Still wonder though, is there any chance that he will keep the lightness?

Mine use to have those beautiful light silvery eyes but his started to darkened up after about the 6th month or so. Now, they are almost black. :(
