ok a stupid question for you guys , I play bass, guitar and on occasion a little bit of drums and I have 2 of my 7 snakes in my room where I play those instruments. I've never noticed it bothering them to much but I dunno it seems like there more active when im playing. I look over and there moving around the cage more than usual so do you think it could be bothering them ?

I used to keep my tarantula on a shelf above my computer. I'd play loud music and I'd always notice her climb the walls of the cage. I moved her and she stopped it. She felt the vibrations and didn't like them.
I believe your snakes can feel the vibrations and may be looking to get to a safer spot?

Are you saying that snakes can feel vibrations? Are you kidding me? NO FKING WAY!!
It's that thing about, hey, if you live your whole life seeking food via scent and vibration, wait, there's that bumping noise again.
Don't subject your pals to constant, or intense, noise, vibration, thumping, whatever it is, it is confusing, aggrivating to them.
That thing about the sign in the pet store that says, "Please do not tap on the glass" thing.

What's an animals first instinct if there's an earthquake??? Flee to a safe place. Their whole body touched the ground and feels even the tinest of vibrations so imagine what a musical instrument would feel like to a small snake. If they're try to flee then yes move them. How would you feel if you're that small, your world is vibrating a lot, and your in a trapped environment with no escape????
Just my two cents.

Yep, more facaetious was my intention. Snakes are all about vibrations. It's like someone asking if one plus one equals two. I'd probably reply rudely to that, too. (Provided they should already know better)
Something buggered up the quote feature there, it happened when I quoted this one, too, added a bunch of numbers and a semicolon. Weird.

Yep, their whole life is centered around feeling and smelling and if one of those is amiss, there will be stress. I notice that when my enclosures are too warm, they have a hard time locating the prey that can be (externally) the same temperature as the things around it, particularly on the warm side of the tank.

yea i have to agree. i dont even have a snake yet but ive done my research and i know that its not good to expose any animal to intense noise and virations. dog, cat, snakes lizards, amphibians, rodents, they are all quite sensitive on some level to loud noise

It was mean. I didn't mean to be mean. I could have expressed my thought in a better way.
Sorry about that.
