Pretty neat, but it can't be pleasant to have two heads.

I wonder if it'll live.

Yeah you don't see many of those, most don't survive too long...even in captivity.

If two headed reptiles lived normally I would buy that

Yeah, but how would you separate one into the feed tank. When it constricts, will it break one of it's necks? Will both heads go for a rat at the same time? What if one tries to eat the rat head first and the other starts at the tail?
What was the name of that snake that ate it's own tail?

Captured after it slithered into the museum in St Louis...do they have a lot of carpet pythons running loose in Missouri?

haha I didn't notice that part.
Two headed snakes usually get smaller meals and both heads fed at the same time. F/T prey as it's more likely they won't constrict.

I would have thought that if both heads were trying to swallow at once, the prey could get stuck at the fork and choke them.

You need two very polite pinkys.
Oh, no, you go ahead.
No, you were here first.
I insist!

i once had a albino burm with no eyes and one with only one eye ( both from same clutch ) i didn't breed them but a friend of mine did . they did not survive, but the one with no eyes ate much better then the one with one eye
Anybody else remember the San Diego Zoo's two-headed California kingsnakes named "Dudley Duplex?" They had Dudley I during the 1950's, and I saw Dudley II there in 1977.
