and here is my little guy that lives in it

the cage is 6x2x4 with 18'' of the 4' being soil
all in all it only cost me about 100 thats including the soil not the bulb

yep its lots of room for the mice to run around in so that he needs to try to get his food i am not leting him get lazy lol
