A competitive, but also popular canadian reptile forum is being sued by a company because a member expressed a poor opinion of that company. This forum will close down if the suite is lost by them.
In addition to this warning to ssnakess.com owners, I think it would be classy for the herping community to stand together and ban this company. Forums such as this one might not want them as members to protect themselves. Perhaps just adjusting your TOS and/or not accountable clause might be good enough. Either way, the herping communitiy is being attacked from withen.

For specifics on the forum and company, pm me so as to keep this forum clear.

I think you should keep this to private chatting with the site owner. Boots is his name.

I want everyone to know that this isn't to be tolerated. While the forums are privately owned, they are home to a community of people. Thus an attack on the owners is an attack on everyone. If they attacked that forum, they might attack this one and so forth.

a forum is THE place for opinions. ive seen many people with views oposing mine, do i have legal rights because of it?? no of course not. if this sort of nonsense can happen, how does a forum such as the BOI exist?? it is FULL of opinions of businesses that probably dont agree with. my post on the forum in question shall be my ending statement on my post here, unfortunate!
