First of all I'd like to say hi :)
now.. I'm buying an emperor scorpion within a few weeks time but there is one thing I'm worried about and that is what to do with the scorp when I'm on vacation (usually between 3-5 weeks during summer).
most of my friends & relatives usually go on vacation during that same period and finding someone who can take of the scorp could be slightly impossible.
anyway, will it survive if i feed it slightly more before a go and find a way to keep temperature and moist levels right? or what do you guys do?

Yeah as long as the temps and humidity stay good he'll be fine....scorps are actually very efficiant and hardy little critters....I guess the biggest concern would be the water issue, feeding wouldn't be a problem.

I haven't take a vaction for over a week in YEARS! LOL And even then I have a herping friend close by that comes and checks on my collection everyother day.

ok.. so it should be fine then
i'll need to solve the water problem but thats an easier task.

You said they check on you collection every other day brad? is that because it takes a whole day just to view all of your animals? Then a break from it?

LOL.....no I'm just a nutball when it comes to my snakes and stuff....I don't let just anyone take care of them, and I need to know they are being watched over well....otherwise no vacation for me!
LOL
