It is a him actually, and he is 7'3" in length. I am not sure if he will grow more in length, most likely just fill out a bit more. He is 7 years old as well, most of his major growth spurt is done is it not?.

Any idea as to what type of Boa constrictor this is? Just a common red tail?

Ahhhh well since it's a Male yeah he's probably pretty close to done then. LOL Yeah after about 5 years a boas growth rate slows considerably, they will still grow through out life but not as quickly. He may surprise you yet though, I had Male Anery. that was at 9 feet, he was just a monster. LOL

Looks like a nice looking Columbian Boa to me. The "RedTail" tag is more of a descriptive thing, you really can't call it a red tail, unless it has a red tail. LOL But yes Columbian Boa, or Common Boa....looks good man!
