she has not really improved i was recommended by a vet to get some elecrolyt (spellig?) stimulant i got her to lick one drop so far but will work on giving her more. She has not yet had a bowel movement so i was also recommended to give her a warm bath which i will do in a few minutes. the vet asked me a alot of questions and he seems to think it might be a mealie impaction with the d3 overdose?? But he said that it is very very rare and usually only occours with liquid d3? The other thing he said he would not rule out was a genetic problem because of inbreeding in the gecko breeding he said he has seen it alot with albino leo's? but i don't think it was that because she was so healthy before and all of a sudden this happend??? Well thanks to everyone for there help and concern i really appreciate it. I will update you on her progress also if you have any tips on getting her to open her mouth so i can get some electrolyte stim in her please let me know
thanks again!

A blockage from mealie shells wouldn't have caused the symptoms you described in chat. And based on what you told me about her age and size, and the fact that you are using a UTH, mealies are not the cause of her problem. I am still inclined to think D3 OD but the genetic thing is possible too. Let us know how she progresses over the next couple days.

The vet said if she was eating 20+ mealies a day and the combination of too much d3 it could cause a "bowel/blockage" I did not think it would be possible either i really questioned him on that and basically what he said was he has seen it before on autopsy's he has performed?? but thats when he said the stuff about genetic senario? I was recommended to call him he is located in north carolina. Nice long distance bill. oh well worth every penny if it helps. we will see i just gave her a little bath she did squirm a little and all body parts seemed to move hmmm. I will do everything i can to get her healthy! Oh yeah if anyone in the mississauga/brampton area were to open a vet that could help reptiles they would be running a monopoly because the 2 closest vets here are links and a great vet who was reccomended in chat located in waterloo (a little far) but the lady who answered was extremly helpfull and concered. thanks again Alicewave and Kat I will keep you updated. I realy think she will turn around! I was going to post a pic but thought she looked to sad and did not wan't to ruin everyones day.
thx again
