You will not get all super pastels. Technically you'll get 75% pastels and 25% super pastels. I have heard of clutches being a 50 /50 (50% pastel /50% super) split but it's rare. The only way to get a full super pastel clutch is to breed a super to a super.

So yes you should get one.

a pastel X pastel breeding will give you 25% normals, 50% pastels and 25% super pastels.
That is per egg, not per clutch. I had 3 super pastels in a clutch of 7 last year, and have heard of clutches of nine without a single super in it.

Yeah I forgot that punnet square crap. :mad: I got my genetics all mixed up. Probably shoudn't be typing with a migraine. :o
But regardless of drawing out a punnet on the genetics there are still no guarantees on what you'll get on the clutch or as you're saying individual eggs. It all depends on what the strongest genes are. I've seen normal to pastel breeding where 75% of the clutch were pastel. I've also seen spider to normal breedings where 50% of the clutch is normals.
It's just like breeding 100% het to 100% het together. Technically you have a 25% shot at getting the resulting albino or whatever. But several times I've seen 100% het albino bred to 100% het albino and the resulting off spring have been all normals poss het albino.

Snake eggs are like a box of chocolate. You never know what you're going to get. :) That was the point I was trying to make when breeding het to het, co-dom to co-dom there are still no guarantees as to what the resulting offspring will be. Never count your pastels before they hatch. :)
