Here's an easy way for you.....if you'll look at the pic of the "blue" one, you'll see a row of heat pits along the lower lip towards the rear.

Emerald's heat pits are much more massive and numerous, starting at the tip of the nose almost and extending along the upper lip (Instead of the lower lip) past the eye.

So if you are in a bind just think heat pits! Emerald (upper lip) GTPs (Lower lip)

There ya have it!

LOL, well I just remember how it was when I was young trying to scrounge up information where ever I could, then I got older and started asking breeders and people who had been in the game awhile and they stubbed thier noses at me, and I remember how much I hated that...and vowed I would never do that.
