I just recieved my first ball about two weeks ago. When i got him he was in a shed. He shed great then went on to eat his first meal for me great. so it is now 3 days since he ate so I took him out (am typing one handed lol he has the other) and i notice his eyes look fauceted, almost scaled or something is this normal. sorry if this is a stupid question this is my first snake.

Could be the eyecaps or it could be dehydrated. I recommend providing a moist hide & or misting it while in shed to ensure it stays hydrated & sheds well. A nice big dish of fresh water should also always be provided. When it shed did you inspect the shedding to see if the eye caps came off? This is something you should do to ensure they do come off as if they don't it may require assistance to shed them. Mark

I couldnt see any eye caps in the shed. I had the humidity at 70% during the shed and have now lowered it to about 55% he has two big water dish's about 76f on the cool side 87f on the hot (ambient air temp) and about 91f hot spot on the substrate. I tried dabbing the eyes last night (which he did not like) but still there, they are clear black not cloudy like during the shed

One other thing I tried a humid hide but he wont come out of his other hide at all unless I take him out and then it is just for a few minutes until he finds his way back into the hide again his enclosure is 3 feet by 18 inches wide by 12 inches high, do you think mayby it is too big?

Well temps are a little low I think but not much. I'd go a few degrees warmer on both ends. Where is the humid hide located? On the coldside? Could be why the snake prefers the other hide if it is located near the heat. Is he a baby? if so thats likley why he prefers his hide as a big cage can very well be intimidating to him. When snakes are young it is good to keep them in smaller spaces as they feel more secure. That could be another reason why he prefers the one hide as it could be "tighter" giving him more sense of security. Mark

Ya he's just a baby about 120 grams I'll try sectioning off the tank with plexiglass. And the humid hide was on the hot side

Try increasing the to about 60-70 to prevent future eye caps but for now u can try to carefuly pull it of with tweezers . thats what i did when i had the same problem and he was fine
