I have one that hangs out up on a pearch all the time too. I think it is the coolest thing. I wonder if they keep it up or if they grow out of it?
Cheers,

i have those long branches with the leaves all over them you see in Lewiscraft in one of my bp's tanks and she is ALWAYS wraped up in it at the top of the tank she is an escape artist to ...lol

i think the funniest thing is that they really aren't shaped properly with regard to climbing around in the trees...my ball python is always all off balance when he is getting set up in the perch...plus hes kinda fat so its just really funny watching him wedge his round unbalanced body into a tree branch and then play it off like hes all aboreal hehe

cool pic:)
Our BP's used to do that when we had them in a top opening cage. now that they're in a front opening cage they don't try to escape out the top any more.
yea i thought he might be up there waiting for me to open it up but he has never pushed on the top with his nose....he just sits there hangin out...in fact he was up there again last night sleeping for a few hours. maybe he likes the cooler air every once and a while? nonetheless it sure is cute hehe
