Hello everyone. I recently purchased a vision rack system for BP's. It came with this Zoo med heat cable, which fits into these little ridges under where the tubs go. I was originally thinking of using flexwatt heat tape to heat my racks. Does anyone have any experience with these heat cables/racks, or just anyone that could tell me if i should still use the flexwatt or if i should use this zoo med thing? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've tried the cables, I wasnt too impressed as they didnt warm up the area, just the small section where they were. Heat tape I think will give you much more then the cable will.

The only time i beleive heat cord should be used is when your heating smaller enclosers such as if you have say 30 baby corns each then the're only little tubber-wear enclosers with the heating cord laced inbetween in a zig-zag pattern but for all of my adult racks i use flex watt heat tape.

i use zoo med i have never used flex watt but i am sure they are both good. I think zoo med would work for you with my experience with it.
