My Ball Python had a bad shed about 3 months ago, i called the vet and they instructed me to give him a bath. He completed his shed and then shed again immediately, I was told that is because the bath dried him out. Since then he has shed twice and after each shed (which goes well, in one piece) there seems to be a bit of blood between his scales on the lower half of his belly does anyone no what is causing this?

Might of had a little bit of scale rot. It did not shed again right away because if the bath LOL it shed right away again due to the fact it had injury to its belly. when snakes have inuries or external parasites they will go into a series of rapid sheds to help "cure" the propblem. Scale rot is usually caused by dirty conditions or too wet of conditions. It could also have had some minor rub injury to its belly. Best bet is too ensure clean sterile conditions for the next while. Papertowel as a substrate until it clears right up would be good. Mark
