How much does it usually cost to get your boa checked by the vet. I'm asking because i think my boa has intestinal parasites because i feed him once a week and it seems that he just gets skinner.

A wellness check with a fecal exam could cost you anywhere from 25USD to 100USD. Mine was 27.50 cuz I brought 2 snakes and their fecal samples. It is recommended you get one for every snake you have at least once a year.

Just a vet checkup with no fecals or anything will run you approx $60 CDN, fecals usually run around $15-$20 CDN & may have to be part of an exam. Then there would be the meds on top of that approx $20-$60 CDN. These are based on Calgary, Alberta, Canada vets prices. If you are lucky you should be able to just get a fecal done for starters, but a visit would be required to weigh the snake to make sure proper dosages are given. They will likely also want to give some fluid shots etc. at around $15 CDN per shot. Mark
