Slam dunk!

I gave my BP Kahlan her first rat today, I have previously been giving her 2-3 adult mice, but I went to a new pet shop which had rats for 50 cents more than mice, so i wasnt about to buy 3 mice. Anyways she took it with no problem, grabbed it by the head and dragged it into her water dish, soaking the entire rat and then ate it, all soggy. Any idea why she did this?

Maybe she was feeling thirsty ;) All of Xander's meals have been wet -- I thaw out the food item in hot tap water, and don't bother to blot it dry or anything before giving it to him -- he doesn't seem to mind at all :)

yea maybe she was thirsty? maybe the bowl was just in her way .. you know how snakes can get.. anything that gets in there way is going down!
