His cage is the drawers from an old desk with a plexiglass front and cut out top. 1/3 of it is a plastic pool with a mister system and a plant. The electrical box hide was for a boa I had in there, I swapped that with a log for this guy.

Anything made of sheet metal s not meant for snakes, far too many sharp edges & risk of injury, Mark

Do you always complain? With rounded edges it was just fine.

I dont think that was so much of a complaint, but a concern.

Exactly, wouldn't want any newbies to get any stupid ideas about husbandry by following bad examples set by others. Not once ever have I ever seen/heard of anyone using sheet metal inside snake enclosures. The bottom edges & the corners don't look very safe to me. Also on the topic of husbandry rocks or dirt are not recomended substrate either, Mark
P.S. sorry for thread jacking there snake 101, that does sound like 1 huge BP

Only disadvantage of plexiglass is it tends to get scratched easily compared to glass over time when cleaning it etc. It definitely makes things lighter & easier to move & it doesn't smash either of course, Mark
