Hi well I used to breed VBBs & I sold my breeding pair around 2 years back for somewhere between $450-$600 (a young guy was saving up for them for a long time & I think I let them go for $450 or whatever it was he had saved in mostly 10s, 5s, twoonies & loonies LOL). Quite a few years back (around 5) babies would go fro $200-$250 each, but I sold most of the babies I produced for $100-$120 each. I would say anwhere from around $90-$150 for hatchlings would be current value. I see there is Cave dwelling Ratsnakes on KS for $250 each or $225 for 2 or more & they are 2005s. They usually go for the most out of the Beauty type snakes, then Taiwans which go for around $120-$150 as hatchlings & then the Chinese Beauties & the Blue Beauties. The fact that they can grow to 5 + feet in the first year to some folks is a deterrant, knowing that in 2-3 years they will have an 8 foot colubrid on their hands which will require large housing & meals etc. basically they aren't your average colubrid & more of a conisuer (sp?) type snake. Hope this helped some, Cheers Mark
