What happened?

I got out of snakes for a couple years and now that I'm potentially settled I've been looking to get back into them. What happened to the ssnakess site? When I left it was a huge, active community; now it's barely a trickle of unanswered questions and monosyllabic responses...

What happened, and when? Is there a pickup foreseen in the near future, or is there a new forum site for canadian herp lovers?

the new site is www.reptilescanada.com. im not canadian so i didnt bother joining but thats where all the canadians that used to be here have moved to.

what happened to this site can basically be described as "no management". all the admins and mods have left and it mostly consists of novices now instead of all the experts that used to be here. its sad really, this used to be such a great site:(
