very nice, so are those saddle stripes a genetic trait?

not a clue, but they are getting stronger as he grows and are mainly in his mid-body. Who knows, maybe they will get even lighter as he grows :)

so would this then be a frosted ghost because of the light saddle centers?

Never heard of a frosted ghost, but his parents were both super ghosts so chances are he is as well

Those saddle stripes are lovely, and that is a very pretty snake indeed.

My 18" baby snow shows simliar signs to that - a slightly paler stripe through the center of some of the saddles, especially towards her middle...

Very cute little boy! They grow up so fast, don't they? Mine has a little frosting in her saddles and her color is getting more of a blush (almost coral in some parts) to it.
Congrats on the baby, best of luck with him!

how much did he cost??

I got him for $55 from the Gillards at the Nov reptile expo. His parents were both really light ghosts (they said super ghosts) so he may get really light as well
