Hey all i am going to buy some baby ball pythons here in a few weeks and i was wondering is is ok to keep two of them in a 36 x 18 terrarium? I own a corn and know that coloubrids can not be in the same tank no matter but with pythons is it different or is this rule same with all snakes? The terrarium is big for two and ive seen about 5 babys where ima buy one from in a 25 gallon - 30 gallon tank layin on each other at petco! So would two be alright? Eventually moving them as they grow to full size into seperate!
thnx
Screw
p.s im going to soon be the proud Newb owner of a Royal Python YES!

It's advised not to keep two BPs together. Apart from stress over dominating territory and health issues, there have been cases of BPs being canibalistic. Pet stores do it to save some cash and while it may look as if the baby's are playing together or snuggling, it's usually still a form of dominating behavior.
