If you follow the link (don't forget to play the video) you will see an interview about burmese pythons. I found it quite interesting. 2 things impressed me, first we have a zoo curator (at last) giving quite acurate information and not just talking stupid stuff. No disrespect to professionals in that field, but i've seen some guys either not knowing what they are talking about or just too bored to explain any important details.
Second impressive thing, quite obvious, is the age on that snake. I don't know the age record for a burm, but having one that close to 30 must require a tremendous good job. Thumbs up for that zoo!!!

those guys have gotta be doing somthing rite to get a snake up to that age. what are you keeping for snakes jimmy?...

Hi marz! Well, i'm mostly into the big ones. I keep 1 Burmese, 2 retics, 1 afrock and i'm getting a green anaconda next week.
I've also had balls and boas. I also have a little colluber hippocrepis that i caught the other day :) thanks for asking. And you??.....

hi jimmy...i got a big soft spot for the giants myself. rite now i have 2 burms [albino male ,normal female] ,1 afrock ,a pair of sumatran blood pythons ,a cooks tree boa ,a pair of kenyan sand boas ,6 columbian redtails ,a pair of ball pythons. im hoping to add a pair of retics. and i would realy love a big female green conda. by mid summer i hope. nice talkin to ya. would like to see some pics of yours...

That burm is tiny for 29 years old.
