My female laid 8 eggs first and still has more inside, is this normal? do they usually lay two clutches or is it a first sign of egg binding? any help is greatly appreciated.
btw otherwise she is in good spirits and health.
cheers

Pythons do not double clutch & all the eggs should be laid at one time. If she is still retaining some it could mean she is eggbound. How long since she laid the first 1/2? You may be dealing with an eggbound female. Mark

If she still hasn't laid them you may want to interact (IE Vet or experienced hand) Mark

A quick post to give a sincere thank you to Dr. D. A., who did what he could to help out my Snake but in the end she went to the big hide box in the sky, she will be missed.
