i have an approximatly 9month old beardie whos about 12inchs long, from snout to tail tip over all. and bout 5.5inchs. from snout to base of tail.

~hes in a custom setup of 4ft long by 2ft wide. bottom of sand, basking light on basking area around 95->105, and a reptile uv light or wut ever its called lol (dont worry it is the right type i made sure), lots of stuff to climb from.

~been feeding him 100 medium sized crickets through out the week (roughly, reptile store i buy from ussually gives more than that). and i feed the crickets that brown cricket feed with the gel cricket water.

~aslong side that i ussually buy about 50 medium/small mealworms almost every week.

~to me that feeding plan is awsome, cuz i leave the mealworms in for the week, they only last that long surprisingly. and crickets fed to him everyday atleast once, about 7-15 on average.

~ he dosent seem to like his greens and veggies. he'll eat em mabey once a week. ive tried putting meal worms in with them but he dosent care bout them after that lol.

so how am i doing sofar? hes pretty fat in the stomach right now since i increased his cricket amount to the 100 a week, instead of the 50 a week i used to do when he was younger. and his legs are starting to build up and all that awsome stuff.

1. is my feeding plan a pretty good one?
2. any tips about the veggies?
3. any reccommended veggies and greans to try?

any other notes and ideas are welcomed!

heres sum pics aswell.

tank setup >removed sum of wut u see to be a bit more open. but the bigger sticks are still there<
(the blue u see is the uvb light, the red is a red bulb ussually on for nite veiwing of a 5degree bump up in his basking area)

sounds good love your enclosure. you dont need to feed him that much tho 50- 70 is good. i use chinese cabbege. they dont usely eat greens and veggies when there that young. mine refused to eat any thing that was green intill he was 2 years old. your temps are great everything is perfect. whats his name?

My Beardie is roughly 6 months old and he LOVES greens. Spinach, collard greens, mustard greens, carrots and strawberries are some of his favorites. I am surprised that your guy refuses to eat them. I feed veggies everyday and they are gone every night.

Everything sounds good as far as set up goes and aside from the greens his diet is good also. Keep up the good work.

Oh I can't resist, here's a pic of Brutus

hello all, been offline due to constantly working so thought id update this. blaze is still growin all big n stuff which is freakin sweeeeeeeet lol. and his distaste for veggies seems to be gone. i've gotten him to eat them by putting them in his tank when i leave for skool in the morning and when i come home he gets his meat lol. and you guys should see him now, just took him outta the bath so his sandfire/orange colors are coming out beautifuly. the tank setup didnt cost me much. the tank is actually and old china cabinet supplied from an ex girlfriends mother before we split up. she loved see'ing it being used for blaze than just takin up space in her basment when she does come to visit lol.

try your dragon on a mixture of endive lettuce, chopped carrots ,green beans and turnip my dragons love it if you want you can also through some collard greens in there but not spinich or anything that would give you gas if you want you can even try him on some grapes or other fruits just make sure that what ever fruits you give him arnt acidic. hope this helps oh ya and offer him greens every day even if he doesnt eat it or just feed the greens in the morning before you go to work or school and give him crickets at about 8-9 pm at night if you do it this way he won't pigg out on crickets and neglect his salad
