actually, its a gtp (green tree python), and a very nice one at that:thumbsup: ive never seen one like that before. its almost blue!
Wow, the term I would use would be amazingly blue rather than almost blue lol. Awesome snake, combined with the white of the belly that is a seriously slick looking animal.

I read the title, but on Morelis Viridis Forum he says that she IS hormonal blue. So which is it? Hormonal or true blue?
Here is the post,

this female went hormonal blue over 3 years ago and each year she gets more and more blue. i gave her the year off this year and she is doing great...more and more blue...now to find a male up here. ......
this is what I posted...now let me explain, when females are gravid they sometimes go 'blue' or blue-ish but will return to their normal colouring after egg-laying. as stated she went( as in past tense) and keeps getting more blue. I also gave her the year off so not gravid+ not hormonal. Hope this clears this up.

Females can turn Blue and some will stay Blue after breeding. They do not always turn back to green. Hormonal blue comes from breeding and the true Blues start to turn Blue during the color change.
This is a hormonal blue Lemon tree that has not been gravid in a few years...

She is hormonal blue. The blue was brought on by pregnancy.
