I recently was given a BRB from a friend who said he couldn't care for her anymore because she had become a 'problem eater' and would only take live food.

Of course, she had a RI and that was probobly the biggest problem so she's been on a round of meds and completed them and she's taken 2 FT large rats and she's shed so i thought we were in the clear at this point with her.

She managed to make an escape last night and I found her in the morning (total time out = 5 hours) and her humidity in her rubbermaid is about 60%. 80 degree hot spot and misted newsprint substrate.

When I was examining her after finding her in my husband's underwear drawer (heh heh that was a funny story let me tell you) she has no injuries but i was hearing something i could call either hissing OR wheezing. She's never hissed before and her previous owner tells me she's very mild tempered and he's never heard her hiss from being handled either

If its just attitude from being discovered i'd be happy to accept that since i think her last trip to the vet paid his Ferrari bill for the month.

what do you guys think?

hello she was probally just pissed of you found her & spoiled her fun. my male is pissy when he is in his cage but when u get him out he is fine. also u might want to bring the hot spot temp up to 85 that might help & the cold side at 75. hope that helps.
