Thanks! Today I just got a pair of yellow bellies on a trade deal. They are 450 and 530 grams and look great. Will get pics up as soon as they settle.

Thanks very much! Kevin McCurley started it when he gave me a female spider this past expo. Since then I have acquired many more crazy balls...

nice pictures!
how do you get your snakes to "pose" like that for you?

Thanks...and usually the balls will hold still but if they don't, a light tap on the nose will make them coil back and be in an almost striking position. Also, my family has been doing reptile photography for many years and they have gotten about 30 covers of mags, books and calenders, and also a huge amount of inside shots. I have some shots in one of **** Bartletts books and it was a honor for him to choose them!
I think if you do a lot of photography like we do, you get use to how to 'pose' the animals :mednormal

At the time everything was pretty much taken with EOS series film cameras. DIGITAL IS SOOOO MUCH EASIER NOW!!!
