...to thank our murine friends who contribute so much to this hobby (not to mention their contribution to medical science, et cetera, et cetera...) and are (IMO) one of the most underappreciated animals on the planet. Their adaptive versatility is matched only by cockroaches, and they make great pets to boot...I speak of the common, brown, or norway rat: Rattus norvegicus
Were it not for their prolificacy and tasty (to snakes, at least), nutritious nature...we'd have to feed our medium sized snakes mice...or find the next best thing.
I salute my ratty fuzzbutts, and I hope you all follow suit. :D
