OK, I am a little freaked out today because my Ball is acting funny today. When I woke up today, he had vomited his mouse that he had eaten on Saturday. This is tuesday, it was still whole. Yuck. I cleaned his cage, which seemed to make him happy..for a while. lol Now this evening he has been stricking the cage whenever I go near his cage. If I put my hand on the glass, he strikes at it. He has never done this before & he's only about 1 year old. We have owned his for about 6 months. We don't really take him out of the cage very often anymore, could this mean he is getting mean? Also, his cage is 84 degrees so I don't think the temp of the cage would have made his vomit. Anyone out there is some helpful info on this please!! reply.

Well it sounds to me like it might be internal parasites. As for the striking goes i really cant help u out with that one. But take him/her to the vet just in case. Hope all goes well.

As for the regure it could of been caused by many different reasons. You could of fed it to soon and just wasn't sitting well, The item you fed it may have been to big, or it could be something worse Gastrointestinal Disorder Ex. internal parasites, bacterial infection, or inproper husbandry. The best thing to due right now is just leave it alone no human contact at all. A good rule of thumb is to not feed it for about 2 weeks so that the walls inside the snake can heal after regure. Also double check all the temps/humidity in the cage and if it is kept on a mulch substrate change that to a paper towel substrate which is more sterile. And for the striking at the glass it is probably just seriously stressed out from the regurge and pretty sore internally so again just let it relax its temper a bit. I have had a few snakes regure at different points in there life for no apparent reason so dont be to alarmed.

it might be that the temp could have droped in the cage which would cause your snake not to digset his food
if this is so the mouse would start roting in his stoamch which would cause him to regurgitate which would make him hungry causing him to start striking at the glass to tell you that he is hungry
this is what i think it is not fact, the best thing to do is to dont let him eat for 2 weeks so that the walls inside the snake can heal like kferrari said and if he has any other problems take him to the vet (((better safe than sorry)))
