I wouldn't advise keeping them together. Keeping more than one snake in an enclosure is asking for trouble :bugged:

Ive seen in a pet shop a nelsons milksnake, and a columbian red tailed boa together, i asked them, "why do you keep those two together", they replied, "we are at a shortage of cages, they'l be fine", what do you think about that??

Well it isn't very hard too repli, If you can't keep'em right don't keep tham at all. Mixing 2 different breeds together is just ridiculous.

This is a really stupid question, but.....whats the big deal anyway, I KNOW ITS BAD, but I never knew why? Would you guys tell me?

boidboi

one word... cannibalism but it is usually only common in colubrids

not cannabalism (sp?) more stress and even more so the fact that they would potentially be a danger after and during feeding. As for keeping a ball and a ribbon together i really hope that was a bad joke. only a very few boids are cannabalistic (some epicrates, some morelia and i believe some liasis) but going back to keeping colubrids and boids together, well im at a loss to even think that anyone would think that that would be OK.

no the ball and ribbon together wasnt a joke the girl that had them before kept them together for 3 years
the weirdest thing is she was a member of eras

I just wanted to let you guys know about a little expirament i am doing. My burm has allot of dry imploded scales, i put johnsens baby lotion on them, and they healed right up, it resores the moisture in its scales. So if your snakes ever get really bad dry scales, just put baby lotion on it, it works great.:)
