For those of you who dont know what PETA is, I'll tell you.
People for the
Ethical
Treatment of
Animals.
That name sounds nice, doesnt it?o>
It would be nice if those were their real values, but PETA is more like
People
Evily
Terrorizing
Animal lovers.

That sound harsh of me? Well, let me share some facts with you:

1) PETA is against the keeping of any animals by any person.
2) They support people who use violent tactics to portray their ideals.
3) They are against people who eat meat or drink milk.
4) They use animal cruelty propaganda to gain millions of dollars to "save animals" yet euthanize 80% or more of the animals in their custody, to "Save money"
5) They are in favor of shutting down all animal shelters.
6) PETA is against all religious establishments that are not against eating meat.
7) They light buildings on fire to "Save Animals" that are inside...:rolleyes:
8) PETA doesnt care if the entire human race died, as long as no animals died in the process.
9) They consider keeping reptiles as unethical.
If you dont know what im talking about, research them.

AND just so I dont get flamed for my views on a group that wants to take away all of our pets Ive listed some facts about myself:

1) Im against the keeping of pets by people who dont show responsiblity.
2) I dont believe in violence.
3) I do eat meat, but I am not against those who dont.
4) I am in college to become a vet to save animal lives.
5) I volunteer at the Boone County Animal Care and Control Shelter
6) I view all religion as benificial to the world.
7) I have enough common sense to know that that would kill animals... (see PETA fact #7 if you dont understand what I mean)
8) I know that everyone/everything will die (and no, that doesnt mean I see murder as good)
9) I love reptiles

that's so stupid...this girl at my school is allways goin around saying join P.E.T.A and she did a presentation on their organization for careers ....while everything she said was completely different from what you have here....at first i was like oh yea that sounds good that she's doing that, but now it's like WOW R U NUTS!!....like setting a building on fire to "save" the animals ... numb nuts sould get some common sense....

I wasn't that familiar with them but the more I hear about their good..... the more I hear about things that are 10 xs as worse (euthanizing many animals etc)

did you hear about the 18 year old member of peta... ne honestly legaly changed HIS name to kentuckyfriedcruelty.com. im quite curious to see what that site is but i refuse to visit it... i dont wanna give them more amo by having more publicity.

that was no joke either... saw it on the news the other day,... it just goes to show you what tools these ppl are...

i went to the acc one time for a wrestling event and there was a young girl... maybe only like 8 outside balling, yelling at the top of her lungs.. and the dad was yelling at a group of teens...

i figured out what happened... these ppl were from peta and passing out flyers with very dipictive pictures of slaughtered animals. the saying on the front was " your mommy kills cute furry animals for fur" or something along thoes lines... they were passing these to children...

these are what these ppl do... and imo the government should shut down this terrorist group..,. there nothing more than that.. after all isnt the alquida (sp*) and other groups just activists that turn into extreemists...

I know no one has been rude or insulting to vegans here but I threw it in anyways since you would be so surpised how vegans and peta are interchanged so often as if one is the other automatically... I find the whole thing funny 99% of the time.

WOW. Peta-sucks is rediculous. I understand one can feel threatened that someone may take away the pets they love, however....read peta-sucks with a critical eye!! When they say Peta killed a tonne of animals, ASK...what conditions were the animals in? Where did they come from? Did they have to kill some to save many??@? and blah blah blah....that whole site is rediculous, sooo many unanswered questions. There is a picture of a dying girl and a caption that reads "Peta is against medical research" What a load.

BUT whatever, I think that with all the facts one gives like "They say they love animals, but guess what??? they kill them!!! isn't that stupid!?" there should be actual incidents mentioned, as opposed to hate mongering.

Look at the statements peta-sucks makes about animals!!! They are advocating animals for entertainment, meanwhile i bet when many people here watched fear factor with the frogs snakes or aligators being thrown around, they were pretty cheesed. That's just one rediculous thing on peta-sucks.com....seriously read more.


Blahhh, i can't believe so many people here can jump on PETA like this. Open your eyes!! There are tonnes of people in PETA, a few might have blown -up animal research laboratories, some might go to some meeting once a month to learn about simple ways they can express how they feel about the unethical treatment of animals, like by writing a letter. lol Do you think they are actually terrorists that are really good at not being caught!? If you know Peta is comprised of terrorists please contact the appropriate authorities, describe the acts you saw, and carry on.

Oh, don't get PETA confused with the Earth liberation Front, a group that actually admits responsibility for acts of violence (None have ever killed anyone, mind you)

Look at the guy that designed the layout of the site, click on his name at the bottom of the page to see his insecurities about homosexuality and not being white manifested into palletable comic strips.

i understand your point and yes some of the things said here are maybe a little extree.. but frankly i dont care.. when you see first hand what these idiots do.. you wouldnt either.. maybe a few bad apples spoil the bunch.... but imo.. you dont buy the bunch.. throw them out...

there are many groups out there that do good for animals.. but throwing red paint and a FAUX fur jacket or handing pictures of slaughtered animals to a minor.. its just not kool.. arent these acts still terrorising people.. maybe not killing but any act like this should be punished and continuing with these acts like peta has, they should be shut down..

i have never actually looked at the peta sucks site and dont plan to... why give the time of day to anything to do with an orginasation that i dislike so much.. wether against or not i will not assosiate myself with ANYTHING to do with peta ( short of these discussions...)
