Shipping Snakes

I'm negotiating a purchase of a carpet python from Texas and I live in Virginia. Neither one of us are familiar with shipping snakes, so I need some info. They mentioned Delta Dash. I've never heard of them and not sure if they deliver to my area. I have seen people mention DHL and I know they deliver here.

Also packing instructions, heat packs etc.

Any input would be greatly appreciated,
