The show was good, Bigger then the shows in Tulsa. I wasn't going to get anything because they didn't allow caimans in the show. This was my cousins' (Hogislander) first snake and he was looking for hog island boas but found so hypo columbians and fell in love. But later figured out that they were inpractical and looked for what he wanted his first snake to be, a ball python. My brother ended getting a BEAUTIFUL! speckled kingsnake that is the nicest snake in the world but bit him when he first put his hand in the tank. He hasn't acted aggressive since. My cousin found an xanthic ball from Otis (Pet snake snacks) for 75$ and we bought the kingsnake from him to. We have known him for about 9 yrs (since we first went to reptile shows) We were making a last trip and I saw a GORGEOUS Borneo short tailed python with-what the guy said- "is the brightest head he has ever seen on a borneo and he has bred them for 10yrs.- he was 80$ and the tamest snake in the world (along with the ball) their was another couple looking at him but they insisted that I take them because they were looking at a larger one. I kinda felt bad about that. But we (my brother, cousin, and me) are holding the snakes as I type this. We will post pics soon.

I have a question. The one thing I don't know about borneos are, How aggressive are they? are they hissers or biters? Mine breaths kind of loud. And when I was cleaning his tank he appeared to have hissed but just sat there. I was just wanting to know because it didn't state it in the book.

here are some quick pics of the snakes (no they are not going to be housed together, that was for the pics. They were all sleeping during the pics)

here are some more pics

I forgot to mention their "names" :medbigsmi

well my cousin had a wierd name in mind (for a 17 yr old) he named it Pooh (that was my moms nickname in highschool) and his little sister (sophia about 1 1/2) loves the show.

my brother Cody named his Amber (I love the name amber, If I grow up and have girl that would be her name :D)

when we were walking back through the reptile show I just stopped and decided to name my Borneo pumpkinhead ( I like the movie and here head is the color of a light pumpkin) In short I sometimes just say pumpkin (honestly the first snake I named because Cody and Skye were naming theirs :p )

Mine hisses when you first get him out.....he's usually buried in cypress mulch and doesn't like to be disturbed. He's never bitten or struck at me. After I get him out, he's fine and doesn't mind being handled(my calmest snake accually...). He's about 36 inches and a little over 1 year old........ :zi:
