Hi i am a python guy but have lately been very interested in boas and would like to know what you think is the best looking Boa Constrictor. I am not worried about size as i have plenty of space but am looking for a very nice looking one. I like the guyanese boa but you may prove me wrong!!!
thank you very much
Peter
pics would really help too
Milton as in 'Milton Keens' in England, UK? I woudl agree with you on the 'guyanese boa'
Heres a site of some boa's to look from, this is a very good site for you;

Personally, I like the Suriname Redtails. I just love the colors (mine has some real nice pink tones and a bright copper tail). They are docile as a rule, very good feeders and grow to a good size.
An adult Argentine (Bco) with it's black 'powder coat' finish has to be one of the most impressive looking of the 'natural' boa constrictors; and despite their questionable reputation are normally just as docile as any other Bc.

Hmmm for the natural look it has to be a Surinam, and for the morphs it can be Sharp Sunglows.

I must agree qith Tonyj. I love my BCO Argentine! Beautiful Boa's! But it's easy to tell by the other post's... it a matter of personal opinion, I would just look around and see what color's, patterns and temperments are to your liking who really cares what we like! On that note: Here's Rosy!

I dont know very much about the boa family and really dont know what type of boa i am looking for yet. I do like the pics of Rosy very nice. I would like to get peoples thoughts of all different types of boas and then maybe have a better understanding before i buy. I have always been about the pythons but have seen some really nice boas that have caught my eye and am tempted.
thanks for you thoughts but i am still up in the air.
who knows maybe santa has a few in his bag
