i looked in my male boas cage today and found a few urates as well as a few things that looked somewhat like urates but they were more gray in color. they also looked more rough than smooth like a urate would be. could these be sperm plugs? my boa is just under two years old. i have never seen a sperm plug before so i was wondering if anyone could give me a discription or a picture of one. thanks:)

Sperm plugs or residue looks more like a clear "mucas" material that is about 2 - 4 inches long (give or take) and kinda looks like a design like pantyhose (sorry best description I can come up with). If yours looks like this spread on the cage floor or sitting in the boa' s water dish your on the right track.

well these little gray urate looking things do not sound like a sperm plug to me. maybe it was just some form of strange urate or feces. thanks for the help:)
