had five hatchlings this year
three perfect, two having some trouble
all in the same room with my snakes, all seperated
the problem pair are siblings born together.
the first one I have problems with doesn't always have his eyes open. A friend of mine told me to increase humidity, and it seems to work but not all the time. But not perfect because the bonus humidity can cause "snot" buildups if the room gets to cool. Tried drying it out and he went back to having his eyes closed.
the second one has similar problem, but rarely in the last two weeks has he opened his left eye. After last shed he had some build-up of puss coming out of his eye. I removed it gently, but his eye swelled up and shut. Swelling is gone but hasn't opened eye since.
my other three and my adults are perfectly healthy, with no added humidity.
loved to know what is up, and how to relieve the issue.
If humidity is the issue, what is the best way to create it in their containers(rubbermaids).
thanks for the help
