What is this???????

My ball python has three black spots on his belly
each spot is under a belly scale and has the scale raised
i have read in my book that this might be a worm or fungus
any ideas or treatment will help

Sounds like a tick or mites, if its under the belly scales then probably ticks, a vet would be able to get them off but people on here will probably have a better suggestion?

Not mites but maybe ticks. How long have you had him, and do you know much about where he came from? CBB or WC?

This Sounds Like A Tick You Can Remove It Very Easily By Soaking Him In A Bin Of Warm Water And A Drop Of Mineral Oil It Works I Use This Method On My Own Snakes

If it's not ticks then it could evn be the substrate that you have him on. Such as bark or shavings that could have been lodged under his scales. What do you keep him on ?
