A couple posts down I made a post called "new tortoise".Well I just wanted to update everyone.I took it around to a few petshops including 2 petland's, and a petco.and a few other petshops.Everyone said that it is a greek tortoise.Since it is going to stay somewhat small we decided that we will keep it.Now I need to make either a tortoise table or some other type of indoor enclosure. If anyone has any ideas or pictures please post them.

Hi, for my russian tortoise colony I basically took an old 8ftx6ft melamine bookshelf, knocked out the shelves and turned it on it's back. It's an easy solution and it works great. You obviously don't need something that big (unless you have the space for it), but a 4ftx6ft bookshelf would be a good size to accomidate a single adult greek tortoise. I don't have any pictures of the enclosure right now, but I will try and get some soon. Hope this helps,

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a Greek, but I would be shocked if pet store staff were actually knowledgeable enough to tell you so. Even the ones I've been to with good herp sections dont know very much about the animals, and especially not about herps in general.
